Stabber Slug, Eyeball Monster 3d Game Asset / 3d Model

This strange monster is the combination of a slug, an eyeball, and a sharp object, all three of which should be repulsive to each-other. Yet I find they go nicely together.

It can be tempting to spin off from other monsters in sci-fi, but as often as I can do that (and do at times) its always worth producing something completely original. To the best of my knowledge this sort of monster has not been designed yet.

This was also my first use of a tool called Substance Painter. Previously I did all texturing in Unity 3d, but I’m seeing more use of Substance Painter in the industry, creating much superior results. So I took the time to learn YET ANOTHER software program (not always fun) but the results have been rewarding.
